Okay… don’t think I’m graduating anytime soon.

Well I’ll be sure by the end of the month.

But I won’t be surprised if I failed today’s exam.
If I failed I probably definitely deserved it.
How am I sure I didn’t do well?
Well… out of the six essays we had to write… 2 were okay…
3 were barely one paged…
and the last one on inclusion bodies was more like a glorified paragraph OTL.

Everyone around me were writing around three pages.
(and the guy sitting directly in front of me smelled really bad which was distracting)
I’m too tired to feel bad about this so I think I’ll just sleep for now and let the crappy-ness sink in after I wake up.

Maybe I can carry on the lab marks and just resit the exam next year =_=;

Persona 3 FES (again)

Lalala~ I know no one cares about this~~~
I’m the only j-rpg gamer around here I think =_=;;;?
That’s okay~ Anyways!

I preordered the English version of Persona 3 FES \:D/ It was due to release on friday (which is also the last day of my exam) but it came 7 days early!
Actually… I already have the Japanese version… but… I wanted it in English too… :x

The disc for the JPN looks better…

… but the booklet is nicer for the ENG version.

So far… 1 x P3 manga, 2 x P3 game, 1 x P4 game, 1 x P3 OST, 1 x P4 OST 3 x Persona 3 books (fanbook, artbook, and some sort of P3 world… book… thing…) = a lot of $$$ =_=;;;
Why does no one ever stop me :x

Even though it was costly to buy the English version,,, I’m glad I have the Japanese one too since the voice acting is SO MUCH BETTER D: The voices for the Eng version sounds right, but I really hate how they say some things =_=;;; It’s like a really strong “typical american teen accent” I don’t know how else to describe it… but… I’m always grateful it’s not an asthmatic Yuna voice \:D/ (one of the reasons why I didn’t finish FF10 was because of that…)

Maybe one day I’ll actually finish this game.
I started playing this in 2006. With the normal Japanese version.
Then the Japanese FES version came out.
Then the English version came out, followed by the FES version.
And now it even got released in NZ.
I think I’ve restarted about 4 times already.
And definitely put over 100 hours into it total =_=;
Hopefully I can finish this before the new year…

life’s pretty good

Some girls spend all their money on piles of clothes, shoes and make up throughout the year,
I prefer to buy one massive monitor =_=;;;

I think I am pretty spoiled with all the crap I buy.
I’m still suprised how my parents don’t say anything about it…
(maybe cause it’s my money and not theirs?)
But I saved for half a year for this!

I’ve never had a screen so massive before (24′) but HD nodame looked REALLY GOOD on it :0
I’ve covered it up for now so it won’t distract me ~_~;;;

Can’t wait till I can play PS3 on it~
I can marathon rpgs more easily now~ instead of stopping at 12am I can play throughout the night :D

(And to those who know me offline, I don’t think you’ll see me much from now on…)

conversations (at the bus stop)

I had such a bad day =_=;

Well I guess it was my fault.

I missed my 9am class (woke up at 10am aha).

And my bus didn’t come…
…it makes no sense, I waited for over half an hour ;__;
Two buses should have came!?
I don’t know… how do two buses disappear…

So while I was waiting for the bus (which never showed up) a guy also waiting for the same bus started to talk to me.

I’m sorry but I can imagine myself to be: uncomfortable, reluctant and impatient LOL
but I tried my best to be sociable =_=;
Apparently he was a fourth year postgrad :0
It was easier to ask him what postgrads did than go to those uni talks =_=;

Since the bus was so late I ended up talking with him for a very long time.
Our bus never showed up so I had to take another bus and change to another one to get to uni =_=;
When the other bus came he told me not to feel obliged to take the other bus too…
(it was more like… I didn’t want to get to uni any later than I was already…)

And I found out a lot of things like how he got a really bad mark for a 20% assignment, his postgrad project was related to ROS damage on humans / birds, got tricked by a friend to go drinking and called him a fickle dipshit (I must have been desensitised by the internet, some how it doesn’t feel that rude…), likes to watch tv commercials such as those “be careful of home accidents ones“… (btw that ad is sort of disturbing/shocking so you might not want to watch it, involves glass table + lady = not nice).

The most disturbing thing I heard was about his work at the medical campus =_=;;;
The female and male zebrafish had to be kept separate but somehow a female one got into the male tank and it was raped and died from injuries resulting from that =_=;;;;;
I wasn’t sure how to react to that so I said “oh…”

Somehow it was an enjoyable conversation between BSc students.
Even though he did most of the talking, it helped pass the time~
And that’s more interesting than me talking about my life :D

Hm, and isn’t it creepy if you find your conversation with a stranger at a bus stop posted on the internet…?

a way to protect your belongings

It’s hard to live with others :/ (who you don’t know well? but I guess anyone can steal from you really)

My friend thinks her flatmate was using her lancome cream… while there isn’t much evidence of it (and it can probably be solved by just telling her not to use it / keep it in your room).

I thought of the best idea everrr.

Replace the lancome cream with tanning lotion~
Apparently there are milky / white tanning lotions.
So she might not notice if she puts it on…
…I don’t think she’ll actually do it but it’s such a brilliant idea :0
But it’s sort of mean. Anyways…

I’ve been meaning to replace my winnie the pooh coin case!
So I bought a shiny purple one~

It was bigger than I first thought (it’s so much bigger compared with my phone)… but it’s okay, it fits the cards, notes and coins I need =D
This one has only one compartment but I like how it’s so thin~ (and PURPLE).

And speaking of my STUPID PRADA LG (or stupid VODAFONE network?) I haven’t been receiving text messages! I feel so bad for not replying messages (even though I never knew about them). I tested it with my friend, he sent me 6 messages and I only received FOUR. Messages seemed to just disappear and it started around three days ago.

Then just a while ago I received all the missing messages in one go. All 25 of them… sighs.
3 day delay… that’s a new low vodafone >: I really hate unreliable technology.

And I got my hair cut… The hairdresser I had was so sweet and cute and she spent 45 minutes cutting my hair for $25 :0 It’s usually $35+ now, this place is cheap!
But… I have a little regret. Especially when my friend’s little 10? year old cousin told me it wasn’t good ;__;  kids are honest and usually speak the truth right!?

well… it can always be recut… it’s pretty much study break already so no one will see me enough to complain about it =_=;

It’s the calm before the storm

Classes are finishing, last few lab reports to be written up and handed in…
It’s now the final week of the semester!
Can’t wait for study break~

I’ve been trying to study >:
Not only am I lazy, I’m extremely picky. I hate the library at uni (desks are dirty, rubbish, cold…), get distracted at home and at the compsci lab with friends and the internet.
=_=; I do want to pass this semester so I’ll have to work harder…
… even if I have to stay late and study in the library…

I can’t even remember what I was up to last week! Probably studying :P
But I did do things other than studying~ Excuse my crude phone photos >_<;

I didn’t have breakfast (or much money) so I gave in and bought a sausage sizzle.
I think Australia has this… but I don’t know about other countries…
It’s the typical fundraising sale food: A sausage on a slice of bread with optional tomato sauce, mustard and onion. It usually costs $1 - $2 :D Mine was a dollar, unhealthy but cheap!

It’s oktoberfest (sp?) at the european sausage house~ 10% off this month~
But damn, this is so much more expensive compared to the sausage sizzle D: $6.75 >A<;
Apparently the pork sausage came from a German pig… It tasted pretty nice…

Fresh egg tarts at yum cha, it looked so good but I prefer the other pastry. Hate flaky pastry D:

Maybe I’m not doing so well in class cause I’m always playing with friends =_=;
We’re playing really stupid primary school games too =_=;;; how depressing.

I was invited to a friend’s brithday dinner (he shouted all of us XD)
I was reluctant to go… but I’m glad I went, it was a Malaysian dinner and everything was so delicious and beautiful. I haven’t really been to a Malaysian restaurant before but surprisingly it’s not that different from the food in HK… or the HK restaurants included malaysian food in their menus and I never knew it was Malaysian…?

The most interesting dish was a tinfoil-wrapped curry with bread baked around it. When it was first brought over with the bread still wrapped around the curry, it looked like a huge pimple XD

Don’t worry, I didn’t eat all that in one day =_=; Lunch is the only thing I look forward to during uni… *sighs*

IT’S THE END OF THE WORLD (not quite…)

I have always been a crammer >:

… actually that turned out okay.
I made the amazingly high average of 84% :0
Now that’s crazy.

Exams in three weeks, I look forward on growing that PROCRASTINATION tag again :D

I felt just as shitty as the weather D:

Rain is okay, especially if I’m indoors.

But then it started to flood into my old nikes and I could hear my socks make squelching noises since it was soaked through =_=;;; My feet were wet most of the day, my jacket was damp from the humidity, then I couldn’t really carry an umbrella  since I was carrying my laptop + bag already and I desperately needed to grow another hand >:

THEN I waited nearly half an hour for the bus but when it came it was FULL and it REJECTED me (I got on only to be shooed off ;__;)
And I had to go back to wait… After another 5 minutes I gave up and walked to the next stop so I would past the bakery on the way there…

Bahhh, why can’t it rain when I’m asleep >A<;;; I hate getting wet.

And our letterbox broke. It was made out of wood so after more than 15 years of weathering it finally fell apart :/ My parents were too busy to go out to buy a new one… We don’t even have our house number outside now ~_~;;; I was so worried the crap I bought would get lost because of that.

The only good thing which happened today was that my stuff arrived~~~
The first press limited edition of Plastic Tree’s new album “utsu-semi” =D It came with a poster of the CD cover art <3

To be honest… whether it was first press or not… wouldn’t bother me…

Look what came as well today! I bought it from a NZ ebay like site… It’s hard to say whether it’s fake or not since it was only $15NZD (~1000 yen) DDD: I don’t know how to tell too :/
The size is 35cm~ great for A4 =D

NZpost did an awesome job. My house had no number and they still delivered it to the right place :0 Impressive!

Don’t look at me, I never know anything

I think I’m still suffering from last week’s embarassment.

Which I never talked about cause it was so embarassing…
…basically I was meant to give a 5 minute presentation by myself, then after 2 minutes suddenly got stage fright in front of a mere group of 12 people.
Then I just ended the presentation by saying something like “and that is how people die from xxxxx”.
And then I ran away…
I was amazing I tell you.
I knew my presentation so well I was saying it word for word in reverse order.

So today while the lecturer was speaking to our group about the lymphatic system, he suddenly looked at me and asked “what kind of fluid circulates in the lymphatic system”. Of course I knew it was plasma but I still couldn’t bring myself to say it out loud and after a while some guy behind me broke the silence and answered for me…

Sighs.

At least the lecturer doesn’t know my name.
